Why does Winda crash and how to deal with it? We solve the problem with the inoperability of Windows Windows 7 has flown down how to restore on a laptop

09.07.2021

Users of unlicensed copies of Windows are probably familiar with the feeling of superiority over narrow-minded people who are shelling out money for the next version of windows. And let it be small money, but why pay it if you can get everything for free. Moreover, there are plenty of programs to overcome the proprietary activation system of a licensed copy.

Most windows distributions with already cracked activation. But every freebie ends one day. Microsoft is tired of putting up with this state of affairs and has released an update under the number "kb971033". Now the users of the "seven" faced a new problem: how to restore the failed activation of windows 7.

The principle of operation of the kb971033 package is simple. The unsuspecting user performs an automatic update of the system and after that he finds himself in the face of the Axis, threatening self-destruction and demanding immediate payment.

Do not rush to open your mouth and wallet or urgently evacuate to Linux. You can overcome the problem and here we will tell you how to do it.

Preconditions for healing

The reason for the failed activation is another package that registers in the system, like any other application. It is easy to verify this by looking into the "Update Center" and finding the entry "WAT Update" there - this is the very beast with which we will fight.

For those who have not yet lost their activation, we can recommend disabling automatic system updates. Or require the system to ask you for confirmation before each such act. To do this, do the following:

  • Go to "Control Panel".
  • Go to "Windows Update".
  • On the left, find the options menu.
  • Navigate to the drop-down list under "Important Updates" and check the "Installation and download decisions are made by me" option.

By doing this, you can not worry that the activation will fail after the next update. The rest will not be able to get out so easily. To restore the system they will need to tinker a bit. Too much effort is not needed. "noble people" did everything so that we could continue to use our favorite operating system.

How to cure the system?

Windows itself will help us restore windows after the “tablet” received from the network. Purchased updates are removed from it in the same way as any installed programs. The list of next steps is as follows:

  • We go to the "Control Panel".
  • Select "Programs and Features".
  • We are looking for the column "Installed updates".
  • In the list that opens, we look for our "WAT Update".
  • And click on the "Delete" button.

As you can see, nothing complicated. True, this is not the only way to restore activation in windows after it has crashed. Another way is suitable for command line lovers:

  • Open a console window (to do this, type cmd in the "Find programs" field of the "Start" menu).
  • At the command prompt, type: wusa.exe /uninstall /kb:971033 and wait until the command completes.
  • Then you can close the window.

This is not the end of our work. After all, next you need to reactivate. For this purpose, you can use any proven activation utility. There are many of them on the Internet. An example of such utilities is the Chew7 program. This is a very simple program. By running it, we get a window with a button. By pressing the button, we reactivate the "seven" and send the computer to reboot. After the reboot, we find that the system is again at our disposal.

Restoring windows 7 activation. Windows activation has failed - what should I do?

Almost everyone knows that almost all software on the computers of users from the countries of the former USSR is pirated (illegal), which is associated with the mentality of nations and a low level of income. The user cannot even afford to buy an operating system, let alone application software.

Windows activation failed - why and what to do?

windows is not a free OS, so users are looking for ways to activate Windows so that one day they don’t get a locked system. So the failed windows activation is not something surprising. Activation crashes when installing fresh windows security updates. These updates block the work of activators (patches) designed to deceive the license verification system built into windows.

Why does windows activation fail?

This is almost always due to the fact that the user does not disable the update. operating system. When a computer requests updates from Microsoft servers, your copy of windows is identified as a pirated copy, after which a corresponding message appears on your screen. The solution to this problem is to use special activators. The most popular activators are Chew7 and KMS Activator.

What is an activator

An activator is a special program that is a tool for bypassing or modifying systems for checking the legality of installing software on a computer or other device (there are special programs for smartphones that block the operation of application license verification systems).

Chew7

This is a simple and clear activator. Please note that you should run only activator files that you have verified and obtained from reliable sources in order to exclude the effect of a virus on your computer. In addition, the activator must be run when the antivirus is disabled, since the activators change the OS system files. When starting the activator, the user has the ability to restore the activation of windows 7, 8, 10 by pressing one button. Next, the computer will restart and windows will again be defined as a genuine registered copy.

KMS Activator

This is a much more powerful and functional activator, which is designed not only for windows, but also for Microsoft Office products. The problem is that different versions of KMS Activator are designed for different versions of windows and Office. After starting the program, select the item "Activate windows". An automatic activation process will begin, after which it may be necessary to restart windows.

To solve the problem of failed activation of windows 7, 8, 10, I recommend using the Chew 7 activator as the most simple and versatile.

Restoring windows 7 activation

It's no secret that most of the software used in the countries of the former Soviet Union are pirated versions of licensed programs. windows is no exception, which often causes problems related to the fact that the activation of windows 7 or another version of the system has failed. Typically, this problem occurs on the following versions of the operating system:

  1. windows 7
  2. windows 8
  3. windows 8.1
  4. windows 10

Most often, this problem is due to the fact that automatic system updates were not disabled during the installation of the system. Because of this, at the very first request from your computer to the Microsoft server for system updates that occur automatically, it is determined that your copy of windows is unlicensed, after which a corresponding message appears on your screen. To solve this problem, so-called activators were created that fix this problem. Below it will be described how to restore the activation of windows 7 or another operating system with two of them, Chew7 and KMS Activator, respectively

Chew7

This is one of the simplest activators created specifically for Windows 7. Actually, this is its only function with which it copes perfectly. In order to restore the activation of windows 7, you first need to download the program.

After the file has downloaded, you need to run it as an administrator.

Before running the activator, disable your antivirus. Any activator is nothing more than a virus that cuts or replaces part of the system files responsible for checking and registering the system.

Click the Install button, after which, depending on the version of the program, you may get a message stating that you will need to restart your computer during activation. Pressing OK will start

automatic installation of the program. Upon completion, the computer will restart, after which you will be able to fully use all the existing functions of windows.

KMS Activator

KMS Activator is a more functional program that makes it possible to activate not only Windows, but also other programs from Microsoft, for example, the same office. In order to use this program, you need to download it to your computer.

Tip When searching, make sure that this activator is for your version of Windows, because unlike Chew7, KMS Activator can work with different operating systems.

After downloading the program, you need to open it as an administrator.

In the window that opens, select the item "Activate windows", after which the automatic activation process will begin.

After the work is completed, a message will appear in the program window about the successful activation of the system.

note

Depending on the version of your operating system, the program window may differ from the one presented, and after activation, you may need to restart your computer. If your windows 7 activation has failed, then it is better to use the Chew 7 activator.

What to do if windows activation fails?

This article will tell you what to do if your activation on a pirated copy of windows is reset and all possible ways to solve this problem will be shown. Also, we will consider solutions due to which activation will never “fly off”

A small digression: Most people most often use non-licensed software (SW). Perhaps such software is more popular than licensed software, since not everyone can afford to use licensed software, but at the same time, no one bothers to use licensed software, unless, of course, there is extra money. Genuine software is most often used in various offices, educational institutions and similar organizations.

For home use, software that does not have a license will do.

If we talk about operating systems, then few people will agree to buy, for example, windows 7 Maximum for 12 thousand rubles, if it can be downloaded from a torrent for free. Many popular programs also cost a lot of money.

In fact, a hacked windows operating system is no different from a licensed one. When buying windows, you pay only for the key, and not for the distribution itself, which is on the disk, for example.

Even if you have a license key, you can install a pirated version of windows that matches the key, enter the key, pass the test and your operating system will become licensed.

This once again proves that the license does not depend in any way on the distribution kit that you install.

So, users who have a hacked version of windows installed often encounter a problem: a black background appears on the desktop instead of the background image and windows appear stating that the OS is not activated or there are several days left before the activation process is required. Many will ask the question: How to be? Is it possible to reinstall the system now? Not necessary.

What it looks like:

Activation is reset (flies) for the following reason (usually): you have automatic system updates installed, thereby installing the important security update KV971033. It is it that resets the activation if you are using a pirated copy.

After installing this component, the system begins checking for its authenticity. If it is found that such a key has already been purchased and is being used by another user, then a report is sent to the Microsoft website and after that the program deletes the license on your PC, thereby requiring you to purchase a genuine product.

There are several different ways to get the activation back and how to prevent it from being reset later.

The first way: If you have just or recently installed a pirated OS, then you need to go to the system properties (by pressing Win + Pause) and make sure that windows is activated.

If it is activated, then you need to go to Windows Update and disable the important update KB971033.

How to do it: Go to Control Panel / Windows Update and select Search for updates.

When all updates are found, look for the security update KV971033 in the list, then uncheck the box on the left, click right click click on the update and click Hide.

Control Panel Windows Update You need to uncheck this update and hide it

That's it, problem solved! Now, if you want to receive the latest updates, in the Update Center settings, click on the spoiler and select Get updates automatically.

Upgrade selection

Now the activation will never reset! Also, you can choose to install updates manually or refuse all kinds of updates altogether, which I do not recommend. An updated system always works better, important drivers for various devices are updated. So there is a lot of benefit from the update!

Also, there is another way to solve the problem (more suitable for those who initially had an OS without an activation key (in the system properties it is displayed that there are 30 days left before activation is performed) and for those whose activation has “flown”)

To do this, you need to download and run the Activator. This is the easiest way. There are a bunch of activators on the Internet (in case one of them didn’t fit). If it does not help, then you need to remove the update KV971033, reinstall the activator and restart the computer (there will be screenshots of how to do this below)

Go to Control Panel/Programs and Features and select View Installed Updates.

We are looking for update KB971033 and remove it by right-clicking.

Control Panel How to uninstall the update

Now you can run the activator (preferably as an administrator) and click Activate.

I think it will not be difficult to use activators, since they are all similar.

Attention! Activators may contain viruses and may harm your operating system. So be careful.

It is advisable to use this activator, as it has been personally tested by me and will not do any harm.

In this article, you learned how to get rid of the fact that the activation is not reset and found out what method exists for when it is reset.

What to do if the activation of windows 7 has failed

The situation when the activation of windows 7 OS has flown is quite common. When this problem occurs, does the user immediately ask the question? What can be done to get everything back to normal? If this situation is familiar to you, then your next steps depend on what system software is installed on your computer - licensed or pirated. The fact is that the “rally” of windows activation is typical for both.

Licensed OS activation failed

If you are a happy "owner" of a licensed windows operating system, then it is definitely easier for you. If the activation of licensed windows has failed, you can simply contact Microsoft. But there is another solution. It applies to those users who have purchased windows 7 (for example, Ultimate or Professional) complete with a personal computer.

If this is exactly what happened to you, then your PC should have a special sticker on which the key of your operating system is indicated. When your PC gives you the dreaded operating system activation failure message, you need to re-enter the specified key and the problem should be fixed.

But it may happen that when you re-enter the key, there will be no result and the message about the activation "rally" will continue to appear from time to time. In this case, contact the service support immediately. This is especially important if you are using a demo version of the OS and the days left until the end of the demo period continue to count down.

As a rule, there are two services:

1) service of the manufacturer of the computer system unit,

2) system software developer service - this is Microsoft.

To be more reliable, you should call or write to both the first and second service and try to get some practical advice from both organizations on how to restore the license. If you have licensed windows 7 on your PC, you should be able to restore activation using service support.

Failed to activate pirated OS

If a pirated version of windows 7 is installed on your personal computer and the activation of this version has failed, then it will be much more difficult for you to solve the problem. Moreover, a failure to activate a pirated OS is fraught with the need to reinstall the operating system, and not every user can cope with this on their own.

It is noteworthy that owners of pirated windows 7 are much more likely to encounter a situation where the activation of the operating system fails. This problem, as a rule, appears during the installation of KB971033 - this is the name of one of the OS updates. There are at least two ways out of this situation:

1) Disable all regularly updated programs - this is the simplest solution, but far from the most ideal, since the PC will immediately provide a "green light" for hackers who can, if they wish, cause serious damage to the computer.

Most computer and laptop users install unlicensed versions of operating systems on their devices. To work correctly without entering a key, there are various activator programs that make the computer think that a licensed product is being used. Not so long ago Microsoft company released an update for Windows 7 kb971033, the purpose of which is to deactivate such versions. This article will be useful to those people who have lost their activation of Windows 7 after downloading this package.

Causes and prevention

As written above, if you are wondering why flew off Windows activation 7 - most likely, the matter is in the kb971033 patch. It is downloaded to your computer through system updates and will override the actions of activator programs. Kb971033, which is called WAT Update in the update download center, is designed to eliminate all system vulnerabilities that are used by activators.

by the most in a simple way To avoid this problem is to control all updates installed on your machine. You must turn off auto-update of the system and install everything you need manually. To disable, you need to open the center Windows updates:

  • Go to "Start" using the Win button or by clicking on the corresponding icon at the bottom of the screen;
  • Open the "Control Panel";
  • Find "Windows Update" and go to it;
  • In the list on the left, find and open the "Settings" item;
  • Under the column "Important updates" in the drop-down list, select the item "Download, but installation decisions are made by me" or "Installation and download decisions are made by me";
  • After that, click "OK" to confirm the changes.

Now you can check that kb971033 or WAT Update (it may also be called WATu ) is not installed on your computer.

Troubleshooting

If kb971033 was still installed, after which the activation of Windows 7 failed and the PC began to work incorrectly, you need to uninstall the update and reactivate the system. To uninstall, open the list of installed updates:

  • Using the Win button or the corresponding button on the screen, open the Start menu;
  • Go to the "Control Panel";
  • Open "programs and features";
  • In the area on the left, find and open the "Installed updates" column;
  • Now you need to find kb971033 or WAT Update, select it and click the "Delete" button;
  • Click OK to confirm the deletion and wait for the process to complete.

For another method, you will need a command line or console. This path is simpler and does not require a long search among the numerous system updates:

  • In "Start" in the "Search programs and files" field, enter the command "cmd";
  • Right-click on the icon under "Programs" and select "Run as administrator" from the context menu;
  • In the command prompt window that opens, enter wusa.exe /uninstall /kb:971033;
  • Click "OK" and wait for the kb971033 removal process to complete.

After the procedure, Windows may require you to restart your computer. If you have not disabled auto-update yet, you should do it immediately because the remote update will be re-downloaded and installed, which will nullify all your work.

Reactivation

After you managed to remove the kb971033 update, you should “hack” Windows again. To do this, you need to download a special utility from the network at the request of "windows 7 activator". The easiest to use is a small Chew7 program. To use it, you just need to download it and run it on your computer. A window with a single button will open. Click on it, wait for the process to complete. After the procedure, your PC will restart.

Windows 7 is reliable and stable in operation. But it is also subject to failure. There are many reasons for this (the action of a computer virus, incorrect installation of drivers or software, incorrect optimization, etc.). A complete reinstallation of the system will lead to the loss of personal data, all installed programs and drivers. Often, you can solve the problem and return the computer to working parameters using the built-in recovery tools provided in the arsenal of Windows 7. They are much more advanced than in earlier versions of this operating system.

How to restore "Windows 7"? There are several ways. Most of them are accessible and understandable to the average user and do not require special computer skills.

Setting up recovery tools

To avoid losing personal data, you first need to create a copy of the system. This will require:

  • call the main menu of the computer by clicking on the "Start" button;
  • click on the line "All programs";
  • in the list find the section "Maintenance";
  • select the "Backup and Restore" component;
  • at the first start, set the mode "Restore system settings and previous versions of files";
  • save the changes by clicking on the "Apply" button;
  • select a disk to store the backup (it must have at least 40 GB of free space);
  • click on the "Continue" button;
  • upon completion of the archiving process, a copy of the system will be stored on the hard disk, which will be needed when solving the problem of how to restore Windows 7.

Recovery disk and how to create it

The recovery disk will help restore the operating system to working order. To create it you will need:

Take a blank DVD or CD;
. in the "Maintenance" section, click on the item "Create a system recovery disk";
. insert a disc into the drive;
. click on the "Create Disc" button;
. wait for the backup process to complete.

Restoring system operating parameters using the recovery disc

How to restore "Windows 7" if there is no installation disk? The recovery disk will come to the rescue. In order to use it, you must:

Insert a disc into the drive;
. to restart a computer;
. go into the BIOS and change the boot settings, setting priority from CD / DVD;
. when a message appears on the screen about the possibility of booting from a disk, press the "Enter" key;
. specify the language;
. in the next window, select the saved copy of the OS;
. click on the line "System Restore";

Using System Software

The OS has a built-in component that allows you to restore Windows 7 without a disk. It is easy to work with him. To run it you will need:

Open the main menu of the computer using the "Start" button;
. in the search bar located at the very bottom, enter the name of the system utility "System Restore";
. run the component.

Rolling back Windows 7 using a system program consists of several stages:

After starting, the System Restore Wizard window will open;
. continue working with it by clicking on the "Next" button;
. in the window that opens, the latest restore point by date will be presented;
. select it with the mouse and click on the "Next" button;
. if there is a need to roll back to an earlier point, you should check the box "Show other restore points" in the same window;
. to view the changes that will occur after the rollback, select the desired point and click on the line "Search for affected programs";
. confirm the selection of the restore point by clicking on the "Finish" button;
. the system will issue a warning that it is impossible to stop the recovery process;
. to continue, click on the "Yes" button;
. wait a while while the system is configured;
. to restart a computer.

In such a simple way, you can restore Windows 7 on a laptop or computer and return them to working condition.

How to restore the system in safe mode

Sometimes situations arise when the system refuses to boot normally. In this case, the rollback can be performed through safe mode. For this you need:

Turn on the computer;
. before the system boots up, press the "F8" key until the functional menu opens;
. select the line "Safe Mode";
. run it by pressing the "Enter" key;
. restore Windows 7 using a system component.

You can do it in another way:

After entering the special menu, press the "F8" key to find the item "Safe Mode with Command Line Support";
. use the "rstrui.exe" command;
. the system restore wizard will start;
. roll back following the wizard's prompts.

Now you know how to restore the Windows 7 system if its normal boot is not possible.

BIOS setup

Before you start restoring the OS from the installation disk (provided that there is one), you must perform the appropriate BIOS settings, namely, change the boot priority:

Insert the boot disk into the drive;
. enter the BIOS using the "Del" or "F2" key;
. find the section "Advanced BIOS Features";
. go to the "Boot Sequence" subsection;
. set the "First Boot Device" parameter to "CD / DVD";

. open the "Boot Device Priority" subsection;
. for the "1 st Boot Device" parameter, set the value to "CD / DVD";
. press "Esc" to return to the main menu and "F10" to save changes.

Changing the BIOS settings helps in solving the problem of how to restore Windows 7 from the installation disk. Below we will tell you what is required for this.

Using a boot disk

If it is not possible to launch a special menu with the F8 key, a boot disk will be required to roll back the system.

After starting the disc, a window will appear on the computer screen. Windows installation;
. choose a language;
. continue loading from the disk by clicking on the "Next" button;
. click on the line "System Restore";
. select a recovery option by clicking on the desired option;
. follow the prompts of the recovery wizard.

Windows 7 password recovery

If the password is forgotten and there is no way to boot the system, it will need to be restored. How to recover Windows 7 password? You can do this in a few steps, provided you have a boot disk:

Insert the installation disk into the drive;
. boot from it by first changing the boot priority in the BIOS;
. at the bottom find the line "System Restore" and click on it with the mouse;
. in the next window, select the required OS from the list of systems available on the computer;
. click the "Next" button;
. among the system recovery options, find the “Command Prompt” item and select it;
. start the Windows registry with the "regedit" command;
. find and select the registry key "HKEY_Local_Machine";
. open the "File" menu (located at the top);
. select the "Load hive" function;
. in the window, find the “System” file using the path “C: / Windows / system32 / config”;
. specify the name of the section, for example "222";
. open the registry key "HKEY_Local_Machine";
. find the section "222", and in it the subsection "Setup";
. change the “SetupType” parameter by double-clicking on it with the mouse;
. in the window that opens, set the value to "2";
. close the window by pressing the "OK" button;
. change another parameter "CmdLine", setting the value "cmd.exe";
. using the explorer, select section "222" again;
. in the "File" section, use the "Unload hive" option;

. remove the installation disk from the drive;
. to restart a computer.

Access recovery

Corresponding, or rather, changing the registry branch allows you to remove the old and set a new password and create another user. Algorithm:

After rebooting, instead of the usual Windows Welcome window, a command line will appear;
. the "net user" command to display all accounts on the computer;
. change the password for the selected account "net user username new password";
. create a new user entry "net user username password/add";
. add created account to the administrators group “net localgroup Administrators username /add”;
. delete the created account from the group of ordinary users "net localgroup Users username /delete";
. close the command line;
. normal Windows boot will go;
. use the credentials of the newly created administrator to log in.

How to restore the Windows 7 system, namely a forgotten password, if you are dealing with a localized Russian version? You need to use the same commands, only change the value of "Administrators" and "Users" to "Administrators" and "Users".

There are many ways to restore the OS. But no matter how reliable they are, it is desirable to prevent a failure in the system. And then the question of how to restore "Windows 7" will disappear by itself.

The operation of the system restore function. Whenever changes are made to the Windows system, this feature creates a system restore point. In fact, this is an image of the system at the moment preceding the change (installing / uninstalling a program, updating drivers, and so on). If you encounter a problem after making changes to your system, you can use system restore points to return it to its original state.

  • While System Restore won't affect your personal files, it's better in case something goes wrong.
  • If the system does not boot, go to the troubleshooting section.

Create a password reset disk (optional). This is recommended if you have changed your Windows password recently, as the System Restore process may undo the password change.

Click "Start" and in the search bar type "System Restore". In the search results, click System Restore.

Select the desired restore point. By default, the most recently created point will be suggested. If you want to select a different point, click Next.

  • Check the "Show other restore points" box to view all available restore points. There are never many restore points, since the system automatically deletes old restore points.
  • For each restore point, you will find a description of the reason why the point was created.
  • With a restore point selected, click on "Find affected programs". A list of programs and drivers that will be removed or reinstalled as a result of System Restore will be displayed.

    • Any programs installed after the restore point was created will be uninstalled, and programs removed after the restore point was created will be reinstalled.
  • Before starting the system restore process, review the changes that will be made to the system as a result of this process. Then click "Finish" to start the recovery process.

    Wait for the recovery process to complete. The computer will restart and the system recovery process will begin, which will take at least a few minutes.

    When the restore process is complete, Windows will boot up and a message will appear stating that the restore was successful. Check if the issue is resolved. If not, restore your system again by selecting an earlier restore point.

    • If System Restore has only made your computer worse, you can undo the last restore. To do this, run the System Restore utility and select Cancel System Restore.

    Troubleshooting

    1. Make sure System Restore is enabled. If System Restore does not start, make sure this feature is enabled.

    2. Run System Restore from Command Prompt if Windows won't boot.

      • Restart your computer and press F8. The "More Boot Options" menu will open.
      • From this menu, select "Safe Mode with Command Prompt". Windows will download the necessary files and open a command prompt.
      • Type rstrui.exe and press Enter. The System Restore utility will launch. Follow the instructions above to restore your system. When you perform a System Restore from Safe Mode, you will not be able to undo that restore.
    3. Run the utility to check for hard disk problems. A failed hard drive can cause problems with System Restore.

      • Click "Start", right-click on "Command Prompt" and select "Run as administrator".
      • Type chkdisk /r and press Enter.
      • Confirm that you want to restart your computer. The Hard Drive Checker utility will scan the drive for errors and try to fix them before Windows loads.
  • Windows 7 has a sufficient number of built-in diskless disinfectants, so if the OS has crashed and there is no way to boot it in the usual way, you can use one of the available standard solutions. These include loading the environment in safe mode, loading the latest successful configuration and a troubleshooting tool.

    Returning Last Known Good Configuration

    After each successful system boot, Windows remembers the current PC configuration by storing information in the registry. If the boot process fails, it's best to immediately rollback without a disk to the Last Known Good Configuration. For this:

    It is not certain that this method will fix serious boot problems, but this simple remedy is usually always used before resorting to other options.

    Choosing a control point

    Windows, before each significant change - installing drivers, applications, etc., creates another point in the system configuration. Thus, it saves the current stable state - it will always be possible to roll back to it even without a boot disk if the OS has crashed as a result of this intervention.

    Any of these saves is also available from the window that restores the OS:

    It remains to click "Finish", after which the OS will roll back to the point you have chosen and after rebooting, even without using the disk, you will get a fully working environment.

    Automatic recovery

    This is also a very simple way to bring the system back to life. It doesn't always work, but it's worth trying even before trying to roll back Windows 7 to an old saved configuration. This module also works from the troubleshooting window.

    This item is called "Startup Repair" and is the very first on the list. If you select it, the environment will automatically try to find and get rid of problems that prevent it from starting normally. If the cause of the failure is identified, a new window will appear informing you that the corresponding problems have been found and offering to fix them. It is worth agreeing with this, after which a reboot will occur and, probably, the problem will be solved.

    Boot in safe mode

    It often happens that Windows, being unable to boot in normal mode after a failure, boots in safe mode. In this case, only the most important drivers and utilities are used, so it is possible to remove viruses, drivers that cause conflicts and crashes, and solve other problems without reinstallation.

    You can go here from the same window of the OS resuscitation tool by selecting boot in safe mode. The line below offers us the same mode with command line support. This function can also be useful if normal safe mode fails to boot without a disk:

    1. Select the appropriate line and go to the command line window;
    2. Enter the sfc /scannow command, which forces Windows 7 to scan the most important files and replace any damaged ones;
    3. You can run the utility that treats the system here with the rstrui.exe command.

    The command line in safe mode provides a variety of functionality. For example, entering the line devmgmt.msc will take you to Device Manager.
