Strive not to achieve success, but to ensure that your life has meaning

Albert Einstein

Good afternoon, readers of my blog. I am sure that many of you have already understood that you want to have your own business, make good money, be independent of the schedules, plans and mood of your bosses. By reading my blog, you are taking the first and most important step towards freedom - you receive information that can radically change everything in your life. The words sound loud, but they are not empty at all. It was my own business and the desire to travel that gave me freedom and everything that I own at the moment. If you have not read my development story so far, then I advise you to read it, this will allow you to better understand what you can achieve, and perhaps even more.

Each of you must clearly understand why he wants to have his own business and how he plans to change his life. Today I would like to talk about those basic commandments that each of you must adhere to. At one time, they became golden rules for me, a kind of guideline that helped me avoid many mistakes. I collected these rules from many sources, analyzed information and advice from already successful people, and actively applied them in my life.

Business Rule # 1 - Business Readiness

Thoughts about the future, constantreflections about how to do more generate a state of mind in which nothing seems impossible.

Readiness ... a rather controversial concept, which for one is a starting point, for another may still be far from final readiness. You yourself should feel that you are really ready to make money, ready to invest in your own business, study material, analyze competitors, and develop markets. For me personally, the line of readiness was crossed at the moment when I realized that I want to live differently, I want to see the world, and not the walls of my office, I want new experiences, travel, I want to live and not exist from Monday to Friday. It was then that I realized that it was either now or never. I was ready to take the risk and start my own business.

Business Rule # 2 - Confidence in What You Do

You are already ready, you realize that something needs to be changed. But readiness alone will not be enough, you need to be sure of what you are doing. I would even say that you need to fanatically believe in your idea, develop it, see prospects and opportunities for further growth.

There is good Chinese wisdom:

“I will only believe when I get it,” the man said.

“You will get it when you believe it,” fate answered.

So it is in business. If you deliberately do not believe in your business, then nothing will work out. Remember - no doubts, not even the slightest. After all, doubts are like rust, at first a small dot that is not visible, then more and after a couple of months nothing will come from a brilliant idea, you yourself will kill it with your pessimism.

Business rule # 3 - I'm a businessman

You must realize that now you are a different person - you are an entrepreneur, a young businessman. The era of slavery and hired work is over. Change not only thoughts, but also behavior, vision of the world. Your interests should change, read more, analyze information, look for new ideas and options for the development of your business, look at the experience of domestic and foreign millionaires.

Related article:

After you begin to perceive the world differently, from the point of view of business and in accordance with your goals, then the world will begin to change according to your desires. New acquaintances, new opportunities, new development prospects. At first it seems like something unreal, but then you will begin to understand that all desires come true if you really want it and understand why you started the whole thing.

Business Rule # 4 - Responsibility

By setting a goal, choosing the path of business, you take on a huge responsibility. First of all, you are responsible to yourself. I always tell my friends - you can't fool yourself, and if something goes wrong, then you don't need to deceive everyone around you and yourself in the first place. Be honest.

You are also responsible to your employees. You are an employer, you are a thought leader, they only carry out your plans, relying solely on your vision of the situation and the sense of a businessman.

And one more thing, business is a risk, and first of all, a risk associated with money. If you take money for the development of your project, then calculate everything to the smallest detail, approach your business responsibly. Do not borrow if you are not confident in yourself, in business or something else.

Business Rule # 5 - Awareness of What You Do

If you decide to go into business, you must be well versed in this area, clearly understand the work scheme, be aware of all the risks and soberly assess them. Many people burn out on the fact that they take, as it seems to them, the easiest scheme, but they understand absolutely nothing about this type of activity.

Even if you see that there is not enough knowledge, then you can study, read literature, attend several webinars. To be honest, I would advise you to attend paid trainings, because at them you can get answers to your questions, study already working schemes, find out what and how is done in your chosen field. It is better to pay money and avoid mistakes than to walk a long, thorny and dark road.

Business rule # 6 - Be sure to draw up a business plan

Even if everything seems easy, simple, understandable and accessible, do not push away the thought of drawing up a business plan. I'm not talking about a multi-page business development strategy for years to come, no, a small enough diagram for a personal understanding of what and how will happen. Describe all the costs at the initial stage - advertising, purchases, creating a logo and corporate identity, etc. Always take with a margin, because it is not possible to know the exact numbers in advance.

Try to describe as much as possible all sorts of aspects of the future business. In the process of drawing up business plans, I still have a lot of thoughts and options for further development.

Business rule # 7 - There are no friends in business

And this is not a metaphor. This phrase should be taken literally. If you are building a business, you should not involve your friends in this. You need to build friendship on business, not business on friendship. Taking a friend to work with you can be your biggest mistake. As a rule, such a relationship will not be working; a note of friendship will always get in the way. A friend may not cope with tasks, and you will perceive it more loyally, a friend may demand more than others, he can put pressure on you with friendship. Of course, such situations may not exist, but it's worth playing it safe. The only option is to build a business together, on partnership, on equal terms.

Business Rule # 8 - Honesty First

Typically, a business is a team business with employees, customers, suppliers, partners and others. So, be honest always and with everyone. If you said - do it, if you promised - do it. In your team, you need to build relationships on trust and diligence. When you yourself fulfill the given postulates, then people with the same worldview will be drawn into your life. If you are trying to play around, cheat, be dishonest with partners, then expect that someday it will come back to you, and this “someday” may be faster than you think.

Business Rule # 9 - Lean and Calculus

Remember the words of Henry Ford, who said that if you spend your first profit, then it will be your last. And this is really so, there is no need to waste, to waste money in shops or bars for joy. Remember that it is better to invest profit in the development of the enterprise, new projects, in self-education.

Also, you do not need to save money thoughtlessly, they should not lie under your pillow or in a bank safe. Money is obligated, I emphasize this word, must work for you. For me, the same Henry Ford who aptly said:

“Old people always advise young people to savemoney... This is bad advice. Do not save up dimes. Invest in yourself. I'm inlife saved a dollar until he was forty.

Rule # 10 - Saving First

I do not want to say that you need to save on everything, you need to rationally manage your money. This rule is very closely related to the previous one, but we wanted to add something. They impose on us that for success you need to have a large office in the center, the latest technology, new furniture and beautiful renovation. But wait, remember where Steve Jobs started. That's right, he assembled the first computer in his father's garage. Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Pavel Durov, they all took their first steps without having anything extra expensive. They had confidence, knew their goals, and wanted to get things done. Don't waste money on what you don't need at the moment.

There is nothing supernatural in these 10 rules, everything is extremely simple and understandable. I am sure that if you follow them, you will achieve your goal much faster. Remember that only faith in yourself and what you do can bring you freedom, independence and joy of life.

Citigroup in his blog brought up a topic that has been worrying most businessmen around the world for many years: what qualities a successful entrepreneur should have. The corresponding post was written by the president of Women & Co. Linda Descano.

“I have spoken with business owners from various industries at all stages of business development. I have also participated in numerous Citi discussions for women entrepreneurs. As a result, there are three basic financial rules for entrepreneurs, ”she writes.

The main commandments of business

“Work for your business, not just your business” - this is the first rule.

When you are constantly immersed in your own business, it is sometimes important to take a step back, stop and think - look from above at all aspects of doing business.

Often, entrepreneurs are so focused on their products or services that they overlook the financial issues of organizing a business.

The second rule: "separate your personal funds and funds that are used to conduct business."

“It will make you feel more confident. While you are creating your business, your personal savings are monitored and managed wisely, ”the experts explain.

The third rule is "create an airbag."

Set a limit for your bank account, below which funds should not fall.

This amount will be different for each person, but the main thing is that this amount is set aside in advance.

“It is important to create and maintain this airbag. It will enable you to run your business during the difficult months of the economic crisis. If you find that counting is approaching a critical level, discipline must overcome passion. You need to take a sober look at your situation and understand what needs to be changed in business, ”experts say.

Variety of banking services

These commandments, formulated by Citi experts, are aimed at the development of banking services and will certainly be useful to any entrepreneur.

Many businessmen in our country associate banks exclusively with credit resources. However, banking services are very diverse.

It is this diversity that young entrepreneurs should pay attention to in order to become successful businessmen, experts advise.

"You will never be able to solve the problem that has arisen if you keep the same thinking and the same approach that led you to this problem" Albert Einstein

Starting a successful business is the dream of many modern people. But in most cases, novice businessmen, especially those who in the past were an ordinary employee, burn out with a bang after 2-3 years. According to statistics, this happens in 85-90% of cases.
Every sphere has its own fundamental laws created by nature. Business is one of the aspects of life, and it also has its own rules. Without knowing them, people find themselves in an unfamiliar environment, dangerous and risky, which easily drowns them.

Let's get acquainted with the basic rules of a successful business.

Law 1. Focus on sales

You start your own business to earn finances, this is a priori. Any business relies on the level of sales and begins to grow from the money generated by trade. This is an unshakable rule that is not discussed. The only meaning of commerce is making a profit.

If you are an altruist and your goal in business is to provide jobs for others, making their lives better financially, you will find yourself in charities. Unfortunately, money is a very selfish creature.

The main thing that a business wants, what it feeds on, is developed, steadily growing sales. Even if you get the best accountant, crystal-clear managers, robots will function instead of workers - the business will wither away without sales.

Law 2. Be able to attract

It is about attracting customers (buyers, visitors). If you cherish the idea that the goods will sell by themselves, and customers will come by, led by an unconscious call of the soul, say goodbye to fantasy.

The sales process is an important, difficult-to-spend system, a mechanism where everything depends on details and the ability to present them. Someone will attract customers in an original way, another will unobtrusively sell, the third will lead and increase the client base. And you? Control.

Law 3. Control

Tracking the success of the sale of any product is quite simple. This will show the average value taken over several months of trading a certain product. But business is a team of people with individual characteristics. Their work must be monitored first.

People are cunning creatures. And your employees will instantly realize that control will remain a formality if there are no consequences for consistently poor performance in work.

Wherever profits depend on the quality of employees' performance, there should be a “reward-punishment” system. And it should be triggered immediately, after control. And for the control to be successful, measurements are needed - puzzles from which the successful management and control of the entire business is assembled.

Law 4. Measure work

You need to track everything: the percentage of successful calls from common "cold" calls, the average check value, how many people make a purchase. How often a particular product is bought, what exactly is being successfully sold. The salary level is one of the sides of tracking with a clear algorithm of action. Successful sales - high salary and vice versa. After all, good trade leads to growing cash flow and the prosperity of the whole business.

Law 5. Manage personnel

Despite the development of modern technologies, the pace of implementation of innovative processes, the principles of work efficiency have not changed. There have always been overseers, only now they are referred to by the respectful word "HR manager."

Business development is impossible without a talented manager. It is he who exercises such important supervision, which forms the principles of all work. You control the effectiveness of this.

How to keep the work collective in hand and stimulate work efficiency? There are many levers: bonuses, promotions and salaries, vacation at the best time, etc. Remember McDonald's. How is this company, constantly under the yoke of regulatory authorities, the best financial system in the catering industry? It's all about the effectiveness of management methods.

Law 6. Launch a sales department

High performance of the sales department depends on the organization of this part of the business (by the way, one of the most critical and fragile). The experience of successful merchants says that the effective work of this department depends on the combination of the actions of its three sections:

  1. Development of a potential client base.
  2. Creation of a "live" customer base and its development.
  3. Improving customer relationships in different ways.

You need to understand that these areas are too different in their functions and capabilities to mix them together.

Law 7. Attract and Retain

Search and expand. It's about clients. They are the source of the river of money that flows into your bank account. If you have a good, established customer base - don't stop! The success of any business is proportional to the number of customers. Real and permanent.

If in order to sell your product you always need to look for new buyers - this is an indicator of poor performance. It is necessary to expand the base constantly, but you also need to have a solid foundation of existing customers. There are many ways to keep them: promotions, discounts, prize drawings, bonuses, discounts, savings cards, etc.

Law 8. More than one

Let's decipher: if in your business there is 1 employee at 1 site, 1 even a well-established way of attracting customers, 1 supplier in 1 direction, 1 live client - this is bad. Finance doesn't like this number. And even if everything seems to be more or less stable, the death of a “single” enterprise is a matter of time. Increase, grow!

Law 9. Know your place

Imagine business is a watch. And what happens if the spring of the clockwork suddenly wants to work with an arrow or a screw. I won't walk the clock. Know how you (as the owner of the business) do not want to take part in the search for clientele, delve into the execution of orders, do not do it. Such functions are the prerogative of other employees, their responsibility.

Sadly, but very often the weakest detail in the structure of a business is the owner himself, who interferes in an already established process that has been given over to other employees for development.

The owner's task is strategy, implementation of new sales systems, marketing moves and indirect relationships with customers and employees. Finding more effective solutions for profit and business development plans. But not by itself, direct work!

Law 10. Pepper for dinner

How to improve the taste of a familiar dish? Add seasoning to it. Add peppers to your internal business structure. Arrange competition between employees (departments, shifts). This will spur them on and will not miss the intervention of external competitors. Internal competitions stimulate the development of work processes, increase work productivity and create a favorable climate for the successful implementation of new technologies.

Law 11. Don't Relax

When you are doing well, it’s bad. When the level of sales is stable at the same level (even with excellent results), it is a harbinger of its decline. Neutral indicators are a hint of the existence of a non-working function in the system. It is imperative to identify this failure and fix it. And do it without delaying or waiting for the schedule to fall.

Law 12. Build up turnover

Let's say you find a way to get 60 rubles out of 2 invested. Rejoice and leave it to work. It is not worth working on perfecting the perfect. The main task of a business is to increase turnover and increase their speed. It is safer to grow in breadth - to stand so firmly on your feet than to stretch into the sky with the desire to reach the clouds. Business development will be more successful when you start working on increasing turnover, attracting and developing new ways, and not on increasing conversion.

Law 13. Implement Wisely

Everything new needs to be tested. No matter how innovative technology works for others. You should not recklessly invest all the funds and immediately transfer the established structure to the introduction of something fresh. What if it doesn't work for you? There will be losses.

According to statistics, only one of 10-12 methods works effectively. Where is the guarantee that this is the case? We test everything new. Allocate a small budget for this (let's say, don't buy a large batch of a new product, but just a couple of boxes). If sales go up, expand your purchase and, accordingly, the business itself.

Law 14. Use the new

New blood is needed for development. Constantly looking for and finding new technologies, ways to attract customers, development methods, ways to enter unfamiliar markets and territories - this should be the main task. As soon as you stop doing this, sales gradually decline. The same happens when old technologies are used for a long time and the client base does not grow.

Law 15. Ladder Up

As soon as your turnovers have reached their maximum (at this stage), a situation of "development freeze" may arise. That is, your income will become neutral-stable, without increasing. This means the time has come to move to the next level.

First, you make a firm decision to open "your own business" or, as it is now customary to call it, your own business. And not just a business, but a successful business. Moving on to specifics, you are trying to comprehend the rules of running a successful business, summarizing your personal experience, the experience of friends and acquaintances, gnawing the granite of theoretical foundations. Then you create a scheme for building and implementing your creative plans or ideas, which you consider as the basis for a future successful business. You are gradually immersed in the world of numbers and calculations, marketing, legal and business rules of doing business, and on the horizon there are already problems of interpersonal relations, psychological problems.

And already at this stage you may have a feeling that a successful business is the lot of the elite, because with the current exorbitant taxes, frequent changes in the rules of doing business, in conditions when all market sectors are divided and mastered, people who got this talent at birth can survive, and even develop. Yes, such a phenomenon exists - someone is talented in sports, someone in painting, and someone in business.

But the rules of doing business can be learned. Moreover, a successful business is impossible without a certain amount of knowledge, their improvement,. Figuratively speaking, using only the accumulated knowledge base, you can survive, but in order to develop, to have a successful business, you must constantly improve your knowledge. It turns out that deep all-round knowledge is a guarantee of a successful business? - It's not that simple.

I would venture to express a seditious thought: “Without experience, desire and ability to act, consistency and perseverance in achieving goals, academic knowledge, even the deepest, will be counterproductive in any of your business projects, not to mention a successful business” And this is almost a formula for a successful business, and if you add luck and high spirituality here, then your knowledge, supported by experience, thirst for activity and perseverance, will become the basis of a successful business.

Without luck, it will be very difficult for you to realize your plans to organize a successful business. But if it's hard without luck, then without your personal spirituality, spirituality in your affairs is impossible. Why? - Because a successful business is not only financial achievements, expensive real estate, personal yachts and planes. Alas, if simultaneously with these assets you have health problems, family problems, friends and acquaintances no longer understand you, then there is hardly a place for well-being and success, which means that a successful business is not only external attributes.

Read the biographies of rich and very rich people - many of them are hopelessly sick and deprived of the elementary joys of life that are available to ordinary people, children are drug addicts or criminals, friends in the distant past. Is this the lot of all rich people? - No - this is a payment for lack of spirituality, when a person sacrifices spirituality in the name of material wealth. If building a successful business, in pursuit of profit, a person cripples souls, breaks the fate of people, ignoring laws and Divine commandments, he violates the laws of the Universe and the Universe deprives him of the joy of life. You probably noticed that many very wealthy people have recently taken up charity work? - This is a good sign, you can be happy for the poor and for the oligarchs, if this is not just an attempt to buy off, spiritual growth is important. The Universe considers this problem comprehensively, endowing the worthy with the joys of life, a successful business (for more details read the articles :,).

Why is academic knowledge counterproductive? - For example, if two people are planning to create a successful business - to open a store or service station. One of them is erudite and well-read, the second has no such baggage. The intellectual scrupulously, step by step, assessing the prospects, will find a lot of obstacles because of which a successful business will be impossible, and not knowing these intricacies, the dropout will enthusiastically roll up his sleeves and get down to business. And he will come out the winner - he will open a store, build a service station, then another successful business. Each of you will have a couple of examples from personal experience when the hopelessly dumb thrive and the intellectuals vegetate.

What is the reason? - There are several reasons - the absence or presence of faith; a person himself forms his reality with his thoughts and emotions; the ability to act, realizing their knowledge in organizing a successful business. How strong your faith is, the more successful your business will be. You've probably heard: "If you don't believe in the success of the business, you better not start it." These are not just nice words - the success of a business is directly proportional to the belief in it. There is no mysticism in this, it has already been scientifically proven (read the article) that our thoughts and emotions are material. If you are sure that on the way to a successful business you will encounter only problems and failures, then you will receive them in full. This is the reality that each person forms for himself, giving an "order" to the Universe, which will fulfill all this with scrupulous accuracy.

Yes, you thought correctly - you can order and receive a complete set with which you identify well-being and a successful business. But ... you can order a copy of Abramovich's yacht without doubting for a second that it will be so, that you deserve it? - It's unlikely, it won't work right away. There are subtleties, read on our website.

Why is academic knowledge not a guarantee of a successful business? - Because every successful business has its goal of development, increasing efficiency, and you, as its owner, must also develop as a person. The beginning of this process is when you begin to purposefully act, you are in the process, a participant, and not an observer or arbiter. To achieve some goals, you change your views, approaches, gain experience, develop, creating a base for a successful business, while “pure”, academic knowledge is unproductive for promoting a successful business without specific actions ().

For example, being a co-founder of an enterprise that was engaged in the design, production and construction of equipment, one day I was forced to leave office work and went “into the field” to organize work as a foreman, who at that time was not there. A simple question - you need to dig a pit for equipment and trenches for various communications. There is a project, the necessary approval, permits, an excavator is available, it remains to dig a pit. But this is a look from the office, but in fact it was necessary to take representatives of "interested" organizations to the site, persuade, prove the obvious, and in despair - "stimulate". Then I had to discuss with the wise experience of Uncle Vasya - an excavator operator, who, apparently, also prepared the ground for "stimulation". All right, he got down to work without wanting to discuss the burning topic of marketing theory. After this business trip, I had a change of priorities in the logical chain when building a decision tree. Having changed my approaches, taking into account experience, I solved such organizational issues with less losses.

This is roughly the scheme and conditions for the implementation of your knowledge when organizing a successful business. But once again I want to emphasize that for the development of a personality it is necessary to constantly improve one's knowledge, i.e. to put it simply - you have to study all your life. This process can be compared to cycling - while pedaling, you are on the move, reduce effort or stop - loss of speed and then fall. Those. A successful business is only possible when you use all the power of your mind, which is like a muscle, it is strengthened with constant use and regular training.

If you devote yourself to continuous improvement of knowledge, the more you can learn the secrets of a successful business - it is like specialization in sports, when intense training leads to the pinnacle of success. This statement is also supported by the fact that most people who have a successful business are in the past ordinary people with average abilities, opportunities, education, but they had the quick wits or had a sensible idea that it is necessary to understand the rules of running a successful business, the result labor of all successful people. When you start acting, thinking like a successful person, learning the rules of running a successful business, you can achieve tangible results.

But ... there is one essential clarification - a successful business is impossible without creativity. Having understood the rules of doing business for successful people, you have organized your own business, gained experience, acquired certain skills and have a stable growth rate of 15-20% per year - this is just a business that will help you survive. A successful business means 100-150% growth and it is impossible without creativity. Moving on to the specifics, these are unique ideas, inventions and innovations as the basic foundations of your successful business.

And for this it is necessary to understand one simple truth - not forgetting the importance of personal participation and awareness of financial and production issues, your main task is to work on yourself. The main sources of your successful business are not assets, financial turnover, but your ability to be creative in your business. Stop doing routine work, even if it brings a steady income (while it does). The development of a highly profitable successful business is possible only on the basis of creativity - it is truly profitable. From all of the above, I would draw the following conclusion - success is predictable and it can be planned, and in order to achieve it, make life better, business more successful, you yourself must become better, more perfect.

Now, from a narrative with a certain philosophical bias, let's move on to the rules of running a successful business, more ordinary, down-to-earth.

If you think that all sectors of the market are divided, the most successful ideas have been implemented and the opportunities for implementing a successful business are negligible, then you are deeply mistaken. Life does not stand still, production is also developing, the number of services, opportunities and ways of establishing new business ties is growing, new opportunities appear for creating a successful business, and many people getting down to business have good ideas in their assets. So what's the deal? And the fact is that if you got a chance to create a successful business, then, as a rule, the first time you will not get what you intended, or even nothing will work out at all.

This can take many tries, not two or five, and many stop there. But to create a successful business, you need to put in a lot of effort, duplicated many times, like in a research laboratory, where thousands of experiments are carried out until the desired result is obtained. Why do you think business should be different? Many famous American millionaires went bankrupt many times, losing everything, but after the failure they recovered and achieved impressive results. What's the secret? The secret is that they adhered to two rules in building a successful business. They sound simple and unpretentious, but very difficult to perform.

Rule one. You give yourself the installation that you will be engaged in the implementation of your idea until you reach the planned result, creating your own successful business - this should become your credo. And when you achieve your first successes, you will have original ideas for developing your business, improving the rules of doing business, because the experience, skills, broad outlook will allow you to see a lot of opportunities to accomplish your plans.

The second rule. Do not be afraid of failures, but learn from them, considering another failure an event that brings you closer to your intended goal. How many failures can you survive? How much do you need? - Until you get the planned result!

A small lyrical digression. At a young age, I read an article by a famous writer, which was called something like this: "Appeal to the Jews of Russia.", And the leitmotif of the article is this: "Help the Russians, the Russian people - after all, you are strong." To put it mildly, this article seemed to me incorrect, tk. Russian people are courage, breadth of soul, fortitude and ability to act, I thought. I still think so and am convinced of this, but much later, I understood what was being discussed. From an early age, Jewish children are taught that their destiny is success and success in affairs that are formed by their faith and will. B. Berezovsky calls this phenomenon "volpinism" (will and mountaineering). Volpinism is the very force that the author wrote about. It is the ability to wolpinism, as a component of the mentality, that helps Jews achieve impressive success, putting into practice the two rules that we talked about.

Let's look at the far from idle question of what you expect to get by creating your successful business. First of all, as is commonly thought, this is independence and money, which imply personal freedom, guaranteed prosperity and the elimination of many problems from your life. Is it so? It is believed that having his own successful business, a person is free to dispose of himself, his time, gets rid of a lot of bosses, the need to carry out someone's orders, commands, and plans his working day himself. But, as a rule, a person who has started his own business often stays up late in the office, weekends and vacations are no longer for you. And if you are the owner of a successful business, then you will often have to communicate with the sanitary and epidemiological station, fire inspection, tax authorities, officials of all levels and ranks. And if you do not want to ruin your business in the bud, you must be able to negotiate and obey. Are you ready for this? What does it mean? As a statement of a romantic view and the realities of life, which must be prepared and taken as part of the process. Do not wage exhausting wars with competitors and officials for independence, the ability to negotiate, the ability to compromise is much more productive, economically profitable.

A successful business exists in the legal field, and this is already one or another degree of subordination. Your successful business in such conditions will also largely depend on the "strong rear" in the form of understanding and support of your family, and on your health.

Now about the money. Yes, they can solve many problems. Contrary to popular proverbs, they will help you restore, maintain your health, improve spiritually and physically. But ... if you know how to use them. Therefore, you should know that the more money you have, the more often, as a rule, more worries appear in your life. And these are worries of a completely different plan, which go beyond creating a comfortable living environment for yourself - these are already worries about preserving your successful business. Money management requires a professional approach, restructuring the level of self-awareness in proportion to the growth of income.

Big money is new worries, previously unknown to you, and if you are ready for them, success and prosperity await you. Do not equate success, happiness, achievement, and money. Money is just a tool to achieve your goals. For happiness, well-being, this is not enough. Do not agree? Try to feel happy, sitting on a pile of money, losing health, understanding in the family. Do not take this as an attempt to sow doubts in you, I just want to warn you - choose your own load according to your strength, prepare yourself in order to meet big money fully armed with knowledge, skills, moral-volitional, spiritual qualities. May your business be successful!

A successful business is impossible without your personal qualities such as the ability to make quick difficult decisions, to take full responsibility for your actions, their consequences, and results.

For clarity, let's consider two options for making difficult decisions that radically change your life.

First option - a person repeatedly calculates, weighs one of the options, doubting something, sometimes hoping for a chance that will significantly advance him on the path to a successful business. This process can take weeks or months.

Second option - a person in two to three weeks already tests one of several options, changing the conditions, rules of doing business, empirically convinced of its inexpediency, or vice versa, moving forward, gaining experience in developing a successful business. It is the ability to act quickly when making difficult decisions that distinguishes these two options.

Don't rely on luck, a combination of favorable factors is a passive position. Take control of the business and take responsibility for the decisions you make and their results. This means that success and failure are the result of only your actions. After all, the easiest way to justify your failures is to blame others, the government, the laws, etc. This is easier, but it will not contribute to the development of you as a person, the development of a successful business. When in every failure you are looking for dependence on your mistakes and unproductive actions, you develop, grow, reaching new heights in your business.

In conclusion. I hope that there is no particular need to argue and convince you that without health your achievements in achieving your goals will be very modest. But if there is such a need, you can read in the headings, to find out how a successful business depends on your health and spirituality.

Every entrepreneur wants to be successful in his business. However, not everyone succeeds. Here are 10 rules for a successful business, following which an entrepreneur can achieve good business results.

Business failures happen much more often than victories, and each entrepreneur has different reasons for failure. However, if we talk about success, then the vast majority of entrepreneurs who have reached certain heights in business are similar in certain actions that have contributed to them to achieve good results.

1. Find a niche

For small businesses, it's best to find a niche. A small firm with limited resources can operate effectively in a niche market. Concentrate your efforts on a fairly narrow proposal. Stick to what you do best and you will become an expert in the field.

Understand that it is impossible to be good at everything. By focusing on a narrow market, you avoid head-on collisions with large competitors. If your home improvement store sells everything from paint to lumber, then it can't compete with the big chain stores.

However, you can try to limit the range of products, for example, varnishes and paints, and become the best retailer in this segment.

2. Be small but think big

The most frequently asked question from people starting a small business is "How will I compete with large companies?" Small businesses have inherent advantages over large businesses, including flexibility, the ability to respond quickly, and the ability to deliver more personalized services. Make sure your business is making the most of the small business opportunities.

3. Highlight the differences in your product

Present the benefits of using your product or service to the customer, highlighting the uniqueness of the solution to their problems. Avoid simple copying. Imitators rarely do well in the marketplace. Research, but don't copy your competitors.

4. Make a great first impression

Strive for neatness and quality. You often won't get a second chance to make a first impression. This means having a neat store, polite staff, and so on.

However, if you work from home alone, remember that you are the main focus of your marketing efforts. Everyone you come in contact with is potentially your client or someone who will recommend your services. Make sure you are always presentable, professional and knowledgeable about your business.

5. Good reputation

Your business is built on reputation. It is extremely important that you have a good reputation for quality merchandise and excellent service. It is these two things that guarantee success. Always strive for quality.

6. Continuous improvement

Entrepreneurs know you can't think conservatively when you improve your products and services. You run the risk of lagging behind the competition if you stick to the "we have always done this" mindset. Business today requires new solutions.

7. Listen to your customers

Follow the market: listen and respond to customer needs. They should feel that they are important, and they really are!

When you focus on your customers and earn their trust, they will not only recommend you, but they will remain loyal to you. Remember, personal word of mouth recommendation is the cheapest and most effective form of advertising for your business.

8. Plan for success

The entrepreneur must understand the power of planning. A good plan will increase the chances of success and can help define business concepts, estimate costs, predict sales, and control risks. It shows you where you are going and how you will get there. Doing business without a plan is like driving a car in a foreign country without a map.

9. Innovate

Continuously innovate, keep pace with technological change. Use innovation as a springboard to improve products, procedures and reputation. They should be used everywhere: in pricing, in product promotion, in service, in distribution, and so on.

Keep your eyes open to new ways of doing familiar activities and innovate that can improve product quality and business performance.

10. Work smart

As an entrepreneur, you need to have an inexhaustible self-confidence to develop your ideas. Research has shown that people who are successful as entrepreneurs are forward-thinking and can accept things as they are and act accordingly.
